We handle the walls, flooring, lighting, electrical work, the whole nine yards. Some folks want a simple storage area with better organization. Others want a full living space. We'll walk through your space and figure out what makes sense for your budget and what you actually want down there.
Most projects run somewhere between 6 to 12 weeks, depending on what you're doing. A basic finishing job with one room might be faster. But if you're adding a bathroom or dealing with moisture issues first, add a few weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront so there's no surprises. And honestly, we'd rather take our time and get it right than rush through it.
Costs depend on square footage, what you want included, and the condition of your basement. We typically start quotes around €3,500 for basic finishing on smaller spaces and go up from there. We offer payment plans—usually split between deposit, mid-project, and completion. We work with a couple financing partners too if that helps your situation. We do. And we won't pretend those aren't a thing—they're real in basements. If there's any dampness or past water damage, we address it before we start finishing. We use proper vapor barriers, sump pump assessment, sometimes French drains if needed. It's the unsexy foundation work that keeps your finished basement from becoming a moldy nightmare five years down the line.
We back our work with a 5-year structural guarantee on all finishing components. If something we built fails—walls crack, flooring buckles, whatever—we fix it. We also stand behind our waterproofing for 10 years because that's how confident we're in that part of the job. You'll get everything in writing before we start.
We can coordinate with your electrician or HVAC person if you've got someone you trust. Honestly though, we've got our crew that we know and that know our standards. It's simpler that way—one point of contact, consistent quality, nobody finger-pointing if something goes wrong. But we're not territorial. If you want to bring in your own people for specific stuff, we'll work around them.
We're based in Iași and we work throughout Dolj and the surrounding areas. Most of our projects are within 45 minutes of our office just because logistics make sense that way. If you're outside that zone, call anyway—sometimes we'll take on projects further out depending on the size and scope. Worst we say is no.
